Soren Helius · Five Quantum · 2026
A rules-first automated trading system on Solana. Each signal clears seven stages, and the system fails closed.
In paper trading with simulated fills. No live track record yet.
Almazeus · Kensho Tech Labs · 2019–2022
A flash-loan arbitrage system in Solidity and Python across the Ethereum and BSC mempools. It only executed when the whole trade could settle in one transaction. It raised $500K in seed funding on a live demo.
Almazeus is closed.
Cyber security
Trained in information security, and it shows in everything I ship. When systems move money, keys and client data, security comes first.
Formal training in network defence, threat modelling and secure systems design. It's the base under every product I build.

At Exodus I owned the engineering handbook for the wallet's backend and frontend infrastructure, and wrote the company's technical writing guide. At SorenPay I wrote the OpenAPI developer docs, the Python and TypeScript SDKs, and the MCP bridge that lets AI agents pay.

Experience
Eighteen years building software. I started at 13 with websites for my parents' beachfront hotel in Cabarete, then ran game servers, built apps for local businesses, and consulted on-site at banks in New Zealand and Australia. Today it's agent studios and payment rails. I'm usually also the one closing the deal, so I can explain both the architecture and the business case.

Co-hosted, through Kensho Tech Labs, a delegation of family offices and investors through Thailand, Bhutan and Nepal. It included audiences with royal families and government ministers, and the group travelled on royal guest visas.
